I just spoke to a woman dachshund breeder who told me not to breed my two red dachshunds, because it will dull there color, and that I should get a black and brown dachshund to breed excellent colored coats??? Confused, because my vet never told me anything about red dachshund having any problems breeding? I have done some research about breeding my two dachshunds, and have not hears of this sort of problem? I want to know if anyone has heard of this sort of thing with the dachshunds…. Thank You
