Now that my baby is crawling, my cocker spaniel is growling at him. How can I get this to stop?

Cocker Spaniel
Kristie R questioned:

Our two year ancient cocker spaniel has been growling at our 8 month ancient because the baby has grabbed a hold of her ears. Now every time he crawls towards her she growls. I reckon out of jealousy, our dog will go sit next to the baby when we are on the floor playing with him to get our attention. This is when the baby will try to pull her. This is scaring me. Our dog has always been so gentile. Does anyone have suggestions?

How can we keep our poodle from going to the bathroom in his pen?

Poodle
catandkittenlover questioned:

We have a ten-year-ancient, very intelligent poodle. Only recently, has he begun to go to the bathroom in his pen which he has never done before in his entire life. Nothing has changed in his environment that would indicate this is a behavioral problem. Could it be because of his age? Please offer your suggestions how we can alleviate this problem.

I am flying from houston to jacksonville and want to take my schnauzer. She weights 15 lbs. The most comfortable carrier for her i reckon is a large sherpa. Has anyone traveled with a 15lbs dog? What carrier did you use? Was it comfortable, did it fit? I am traveling continental air.

Maltese
kimby1375@sbcglobal.net questioned:

I own a Bison Frise and am looking to add to the family this summer. I am undecided weather to get another Bison or to go with a Maltese. They to me seem about the same but just off apperence the Maltese hair seems a small less maitnence. I don’t mind brushing out a dog but my Bison gets knots in it’s hair no matter what I do when it gets to a certain length.

Is it wrong to raise a Labrador Retriever in an apartment?

By milkbone Posted in #1 - Labrador Retriever / No Comments »
Labrador Retriever
golferdude questioned:

My roommate recently bought a labrador puppy. We both like the puppy to death but we’re somewhat worried about raising her up in a small apartment.

We take her out for at least 2 long walks a day and on the weekends we go to the park or other areas where she can run to her heart’s content.

Is it ok to raise a lab in an apartment? Also, we’re not home for a few hours a day (between 9-12 and 1-4; M-F). Is it ok to leave her alone at home? She seems to be adjusting well but we’re worried if she’ll be excessively lonely.
