My dog died recently (a boxer, we had her for 13 years!). I really want my next dog to be a boston terrier. I like their friendly personalities, and I reckon I’m ready for a smaller dog after having a huge one for so long. But, I don’t want to spend a huge fortune (I’d be willing to go up to 400), and I’m worried of getting an unhealthy puppy. Any advice?

My family is thinking about adopting a puppy. And we saw a cocker spaniel mix. It looks alot like a normal cocker spaniel puppy. And we don’t want a huge dog like a St. Bernard, so we need to know how huge (aprox.) a cocker spaniel get. Answers (kind) appreciated!

I saw it done in Turner and Hooch and that dog looked ok afterwards, but I know that is hollywood too.

What should I know about my Miniature Schnauzer?

I have a 7 week ancient Miniature Schanuzer. I have had him for a week and already he is housebroke. I want him to eat the best food. What is a excellent puppy chow as he has a high chance of diabetes and other problems. We gave him a piece of cooked deer meat and he got the poops and vomited. Other than that he plays, sleeps all night, doesn’t bark or bite.

When he is 8 weeks we will take him to the vet for his first shots and to have him microchipped.

How can I keep the stray dogs out of my yard, other than shooting them with my BB- gun? The reason for this is there is a lot of mange and other diseases and I don’t want my puppy contracting them. Very few people take care of there pets around here.
