that is also suitable for a regular sized yard and back yard
also im considering an inside dog but has to be small
not looking for dogs with long hair, but collies are cool
also not looking for hounds

that is also friendly to strangers and is very smart
also one that is active (i like to go running)

considering these dogs but might be a small to huge:
labrador retriever
golder retriever
collie (dont know what kind)
german shepard

if you have others or like the ones ive listed please post here
thank you very much =)

also im thinking about considering a beagle but im unsure because of the barking
also im thinking about welsh corgi seems like perfect size
people say golden retrievers are fantastic dogs but im still not sure of the size

Does anyone have any tips for bathing an abused Golden Retriever?

By milkbone Posted in Uncategorized / 10 Comments »
Kevjuice questioned:

We recently adopted a golden retriever that was severly abused. Goldens usually like the water, but he does not due to the way his abusive parents bathed him. So far he is very friendly when he is sitting down and is accepting to petting and touch. But, when he is standing, he will scurry from you if you get too close. We have only had him for a week so we expect him to be frightened of us, but does anyone have any tips for bathing and also any on how to break that dread barrier that causes him to scurry from us? Thanks
