My 1 yr. ancient German Small Haired Pointer is getting his second round of shots this evening. (We got her from our local spca…) and I was wondering if I can give her some kind of pain medicine before we go, so she wont hurt as terrible when she gets the shots. Also, can I leave her alone for a few hours (kenneled) after the shots or should she be closely monitored to make sure she is not alergic?

My shetland sheepdog is about 5 years ancient. We got him at a pet store, and hes really worried of people (to the point where he shakes and hides) hes frightened of other stuff to. Hes not worried of me or my family. When we got him i was really young but is there anything i can to do to help him and make him less frightened of people and other things?
hes like five years ancient can he still be socialized
