What breed of dog would be best for me?

By milkbone Posted in Uncategorized / 14 Comments »
~Justice~ questioned:

I would like a large-medium sized breed (NO small dogs), willing to walk twice per day for 40-60 minutes each time, playful, brilliant with children (aged 9+ is a must), excellent with cats (I own 2), simple to housebreak, smart and quick learner, NO LONG HAIRED BREEDS, doesn’t need professional grooming more than once per year, protective is nice but I want a friendly dog and it doesn’t matter whether he will protect me.

Don’t be typical by suggesting Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever or German Shepherd. I also don’t want any Terriers. I have considered adopting but I want to experience the bond with a puppy. I want a purebred dog, no cross breeds.

Preferably no more than $750.
And no Boxer, Staffy, Beagle or rare/expensive breeds.

Why does our dachshund poop in the house everytime my wife and I have sex?

olaf_bram_joost questioned:

I know this is a weird question, but I’m dead serious. When my wife and I have sex, our 3 year ancient dachshund goes and takes a dump on the floor. Even right after he’s been outside and pooped, he’ll manage to squeeze something out EVERYTIME we have sex. I’m going to start locking him up, but I want to know why he does this in the first place. Any input?
