they are way cute, my sis would pick the shih tzu though. here in japan they call shih tzus samurai dogs, because they go way back as guard dogs for the samurais. Cool huh? Oh no wait theyre shibas, i dont know if theyre the same thing or not. Well yorkshires are small portable, and they dont eat as much food cuz theyre small. You can enter them in the fashion kind of things because there hair gets long and if you take care of it, it could be nice and shiny. Not high maintenence.(dont know if I spelled that rite) you could always google.

My friend has a yorkshire terrier, and she says its the best dog. She dresses it up and everything. Haha.
But whenever i go to visit her at her house, her dog goes really crazy. So be aware that Yorkshire terriers can be loud yapping dogs.
This is the basics of shih tzus. I have had a shih tzu and it didn’t turn out too well. The dog wasn’t that fantastic.
Personally i would still choose a shih tzu over a Yorkshire terrier, even though i have had a terrible experience with a shih tzu. But basically, you should choose a breed based on your personality and household, etc.

i would go for a shihtzu since they are the more cool dog of the two, and they are simpler to train and they dont have the seperation anxiety that yorkies tend to have and they are not nearly as neady as yorkies

both breeds are very adorable! ive heard the shih tzu bread gets a lot of urine related problems (stones, infections etc.)
the yorkie with stay a lot smaller then the shih tzu as well.
But the most imporant fact is that the shih tzu is # 70 on the doggie intelligence scale (low score) and the yorkie is # 27 (above average)
is your wondering the #1 ranked smartest dog is the border collie and coming in #2 is the Poodle.
I have a mini schnauzer and they are incredible. Never ever shed, allergy free and a whoooolllleee lot of attitude.

Yorkies are way larger on the inside than they are on the outside–lots of personality!
But they are terriers, and they need excellent discipline.
For some reason, they always seem to come in pairs…

Yorkies are wonderful small dogs. They can be diffcult to housebreak, most toy breeds are. Yorkies can be possessive over their owners. They require daily grooming. I free feed my Yorkies since they can have problems with low blood sugar. Yorkies are also prone to luxating patella (slipped knees), in severe cases surgery is required. Consider adopting a Yorkie, they are several in rescues. If you don’t find what you want find a reputable & knowledgable breeder. Excellent luck !

i just got a yorkie and he follows me everywhere i go. he runs really quick and a bought him and h dosent pee on the bed sofa people etc… Also he learns things really quick and is so cut.he also doesnt bark he only cries.he doesnt shed either
PS he is 3 months ancient
