Chihuahua named “Pongo”… I have a PomChi (half pomeranian/half chihuahua) named “Dizzy”, a persian cat named “Sundae.”

There are lots of excellent names. A beagle I knew once was named Buddy. Or Sam is excellent for a beagle. I would recommend looking at your library for names. My dogs are Sidnye(chocolate Lab) Kadie (Chocolate Lab) Jake (Chocolate Lab) and Ginger ( Mix small breed) Excellent Luck there are lots of fantastic names out there.

I have had 2 beagles as a youth growing up….Snoopy (original LOL) and Pebbles. We now have a beagle that my son (at the time was 7 when “Santa” delivered her under the tree). He named her “lucky”.
We told him in a amusing way..”you know Lucky, the 3 legged dog, you don’t want to call her that”. Our large dog accidentally broke her leg when she was 8 months ancient…. it took us $3500 to get her leg fixed so she would not turn into “Lucky the 3 legged dog”…. So do NOT name her/him Lucky!! LOL!!

Persnickety. I like that word! It means; overly attentive and snobbish in terms of choice, and thus wanting or accepting only the finest things.
Additionally, if that name seems to long…you could call her “Perty” for small and it might just give her some extra self esteem in life, lol.

I just got two mini schnauzers at Christmas. I reckon the names we picked are adorable. The salt and pepper color one we named Scout, and the black one we named Piper, They seem to fit real well, and took a few days to choose on, but these were the ones that stuck. You will find one too.

I don’t have a beagle, I have a cocker spaniel and I named him Vincent. We call him Vici for small.
I choose the name because I like Vincent Van Gogh and I couldn’t reckon of a better way to show my like for his work than through nameing my dog after him….plus it is a fantastic conversation starter with other dog lovers.
